An imaginary underground world of resonating crystals, mineral bells, glass strings, glowing cave pads and subterranean basses, made into 102 ready-to-play Soundbox presets.
30 designed presets stack up to four layers each, with their own effects, envelopes and vector movement. They come in five moods, six presets each: Beautiful & Playable, Cinematic & Atmospheric, Dark & Mysterious, Experimental & Alien and Rhythmic & Sequenced.
12 sequencer presets play themselves: hold a chord and Soundbox's own arpeggiators run 40 crystal patterns, from bright pulses to broken, glitchy rhythms. 60 single-instrument presets give you every plucked string, bell, pad, bass, experimental instrument and impact on its own, as a starting point for your own sounds.
Every instrument was synthesised from scratch: modal resonators, physical-model strings, FM and granular textures. There are no recordings inside, and every key has its own sample, so notes don't sound stretched.
